Hildegard Müller, born in 1967, has been President of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) since February 1, 2020. Previously, she served as a member of the Executive Board responsible for Networks & Infrastructure at innogy SE, was Chair of the Executive Management of BDEW between 2008 and 2016, and served as Minister of State to the Federal Chancellor from 2005 to 2008. From October 2002 to September 2008, she was a Member of the German Bundestag, and from March 1995 to September 2008 she was a Department Director at Dresdner Bank AG.
