Daniel Eitler is the Vice President AI, Data and Cyber Security at Mercedes-Benz Group AG. In this role, he leads the global strategy for artificial intelligence, data management and cyber security, ensuring that innovation, resilience and responsible digital transformation go hand in hand. He previously built key global cyber security capabilities such as 24/7 cyber incident response and significantly strengthened Mercedes-Benz's cyber resilience. Before joining Mercedes-Benz in 2021, he held senior roles at BMW with global responsibility for Cyber Security and Digital Identities. He began his career at Accenture and Oliver Wyman, focusing on IT strategy and major transformation programs. Daniel holds a degree in Computer Science from Munich and an MBA from Mannheim Business School.
