Dr. Andreas Liebl

Dr. Andreas Liebl is the managing director of the appliedAI Initiative and the appliedAI Institute for Europe, with the goal of “shaping Europe's innovative strength in AI” by working to bring organizations to the highest level of AI maturity and developing cutting-edge AI applications. He is a member of the Global Partnership on AI, where he chairs the “Innovation and Regulation of AI” group, in addition to other advisory roles such as the Bavarian AI Council. Prior to appliedAI, he was one of the managing directors of UnternehmerTUM, worked for McKinsey, and earned his doctorate from the Technical University of Munich.
