After earning his Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science degrees, he received his Ph.D. from TU Darmstadt in 2012. He began his professional career at Porsche AG in 2003. Since 2017, he has served as Head of Type Approval for Integral Safety and Data Security, overseeing the homologation of new technologies in the areas of driver assistance systems, automated driving, cybersecurity, software updates, and technical data.
