Susanne Schöne

Journalist, TV and event host for tech, AI, and cybersecurity, Kern Innovations GmbH

Susanne Schöne (42) is an internationally active host, speaker, and journalist with more than 15 years of experience and over 2,500 event moderations, as well as numerous live TV appearances. She is considered one of the few professional event hosts in Germany.

From May 2015 to March 2019, the Dresden-born presenter worked as a host for the news channel N24 in Berlin. She subsequently moved to ProSiebenSat.1, where she has since hosted approximately 100 days per year for the entertainment channels Sat.1, Pro7, and Kabel1.

In 2007, Ms. Schöne completed her studies in communication science, psychology, and sociology, earning a Master of Arts degree at TU Dresden, and has since worked nationwide as a host for events and on television. Voice and speech training with Anette Görlich in Munich (2012) and Ulrike Kapfer in Berlin (since 2015) complement her professional education. Bilingual moderations in German and English are second nature to her.

In addition, Ms. Schöne places great value on personal and individual professional development and regularly participates in advanced training programs in the areas of language, breathing, presentation techniques, storytelling, and journalism. After already working for two years as a TV host immediately following her studies, her career path led her into the event sector in 2010, where she successfully worked for five years as a host for companies across a wide range of industries. A casting in January 2015 brought her back to television, to the news channel N24 (now Welt).

Since March 2019, Ms. Schöne has been hosting for the channels Sat.1, Pro7, and Kabel1. Her focus in event moderation is on galas, award ceremonies, congresses, and panel discussions. As a trained journalist, she is keen to actively contribute her expertise.
