The German automotive industry is firmly committed to the Paris climate goals and to achieving climate-neutral road transport by no later than 2050. To this end, manufacturers and suppliers are investing heavily in research, development, and the transformation of their plants. 

In addition to electric mobility as a central pillar, technology-open approaches are required – particularly in the field of hydrogen mobility.
