As connectivity increases, so does the attack surface of modern vehicles. Cybersecurity is therefore no longer an add-on, but a core component of future-proof mobility.

This session explores how Germany can position itself as a lead market for secure and trustworthy mobility systems. The focus is on approaches such as „security by design“, regular penetration tests, continuous monitoring, and the importance of standards such as TISAX, ISO/SAE 21434, and UNECE R155.

We will discuss how clear processes, comprehensive certifications, and capability building across the supply chain help strengthen trust and competitiveness, and how companies can set international benchmarks through consistent implementation.
